Airios is looking for a Customer Quality Engineer to join our team in Veldhoven, The Netherlands.

Airios develops and produces electronics and control systems for the residential original equipment manufacturer (OEM) industry. These can be individual components, complete ventilation systems, heating systems or a combination. As a Customer Quality Engineer you will report to the Quality Assurance & Service manager of Airios. Your main working domain will be with our service process. This is followed when returning products to receive a refund, replacement, or repair. Used both for handling returns from our customers and to our suppliers.
What will you do
As a Customer Quality Engineer at Airios, you:

Handle Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). It’s the first part of the process of returning products, interacting with customers to understand the deviations of the rejected product or shipments;

Do a first analysis of the return product(s) and register in assigned tools;

Arrange that the rejected products will be returned to the suppliers or production department;

Will collect and register all the relevant information about an RMA in the designated tools. From where you prepare a report and take care of the further handling of the RMA with the customer;

Draw up analysis reports for internal stakeholders to learn and improve products designs;

Will initiate and support in the Non‑Conformity process, in case of structural product issue;

Actively participate in the Quality control process of outbound goods and services.
Education and experience
We are looking for a Customer Quality Engineer with the following experience:

Finished secondary vocational (MBO4) degree, administrative and/or technical field or study;

A minimum of three years of work experience in a comparable service field, including administration in an RMA/return process in a B2B organization;

You have relevant technical knowledge and/or a genuine interest in consumer electronics;

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word);

Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Navision, SAP, JD Edwards);

Experience with customer service and RMA service.
