Electronics  Engineer 


Airios is looking for an Electronics Engineer lead to join our R&D team in Veldhoven, The Netherlands.

What you will do?

As an Electronics Engineer at Airios, you:

  • define the product architecture and hardware specifications based on the commercial requirements;

  • work closely together with the industrial, mechanical and software designers to create an integrated product;

  • create the electrical-, schematic and PCB designs including power electronics, digital electronics and RF circuitry and antennas;

  • realize prototypes and work with a test engineer to validate functionality, including certification;

  • optimize manufacturability of the design together with the purchasing and production department;

  • specify the production test system;

  • you support our project and product managers in evaluating new opportunities and creating work break downs;

  • investigate new technologies and innovations for our products;

  • analyze issue and resolve issues found in production or the field;

  • work with others to continuously evaluate and improve the way we develop products as an organization;

  • coach other team members to improve their way of working.

Education and experience

We are looking for an Electronics Engineer with the following experience:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in an electrical engineering, physics or similar;

  • A minimum of five-years of relevant experience in a comparable product development field, involving electronics, wireless connectivity (868MHz, Bluetooth, WiFi, NB-IoT) and/or sensors;

  • Design and of testing of radio frequency circuits;

  • Knowledge of, and experience with, design for six sigma (DFSS). Preferably green belt certified;

  • Experience in working in Agile/Kanban projects and working environment is preferred;

  • Experience in climate and ventilation systems is preferred.
