Airios is looking for a Product Engineer to join our R&D team in Veldhoven, The Netherlands.

We are a market leader in control systems for the residential original equipment manufacturer (OEM) industry. We have more than 30 years of experience in heating and ventilation controls. Our portfolio of products consists of controllers, sensors and user interfaces that are all connected wirelessly. We work closely with our customers to develop new and innovative products. 



Our products and systems are developed by multidisciplinary project teams of architects and hardware and software engineers. The Airios organizational structure is informal, flexible, and designed to promote innovation. We enjoy a collegial environment where combined experience and knowledge is shared amongst our developers.

As a Product Engineer, you will report to the R&D manager of Airios. You will work in the R&D team consisting of over 25 architects, soft- and hardware engineers and organized in several scrum teams. We use agile methodologies and tools. The teams usually work on various activities at the same time, both new product development and maintenance on existing products.

The product engineer will take the lead in the non-electrical component part of the products and the product documentation.

What you will do?

As an Product Engineer at Airios, you:

  • are responsible for the mechanical and non-electrical components of our products, like product housing, cables, and mounting materials.

  • take the lead in developing the packaging, labelling and manuals for the products;

  • work closely with our suppliers on developing these components;

  • coordinate the release of product updates into our internal and external production;

  • setup the product documentation for new products, and maintain it over the lifecycle.

Education and experience

We are looking for a Product Engineer with the following experience:

  • Finished post-secondary vocational (MBO) or Bachelor (HBO) education;

  • Affinity with technology, ideally with skills in mechanical development;

  • Work experience in an electronics development and production environment;

  • Experience with product packaging and labelling;

  • Previous involvement in product documentation.
