Airios is looking for a Service and Repair Engineer to join our R&D team in Veldhoven, The Netherlands.

As a Service and Repair Engineer, you will report to the Q&A manager of Airios. You will work in the Service team, consisting of a small number of engineers. The members of the team usually work on various activities at the same time. Both production support and analyzing of production outage and customer returns. And together contributing to the quality of our products.

What you will do?

As a Service and Repair Engineer at Airios, you:

  • Work closely with our customers and suppliers finding deviations with their products from a technical perspective.

  • Troubleshooting analogue/digital to component level and soldering level. Check whether components work with various instruments such as an oscilloscope, multimeter, and electronics schematics.

  • Register findings in assigned tools.

  • Answering and supporting production engineers.

Education and experience

We are looking for a Service and Repair Engineer with the following experience:

  • Finished secondary vocational (MBO4) degree in an electrical engineering or similar education.

  • A minimum of three-years of relevant experience in a comparable service field, involving analyzing and repairing of electronics.

  • Knowledge of, and experience with, microprocessor controlled electronics:

  • Microcontroller circuits

  • Switching power supplies

  • UART / RS232 / RS485 / I2C interfaces

  • RF circuits

  • Soldering according to IPC-A-610

  • Performing small repairs on component and board level.
