Airios is looking for a Strategic Purchaser to join our team in Veldhoven, The Netherlands.

Our portfolio of products consists of controllers, sensors and user interfaces that are all connected wirelessly. As a strategic purchaser, you will report to the Operations manager (COO) of Airios. You will work in the operations organization additionally consisting of an operational purchaser, the supply planning and the manufacturing teams. You will also closely work together with our R&D team.
The strategic purchaser manages the relation and roadmap with our key component, service and manufacturing suppliers.
What you will do?
As a Strategic Purchaser at Airios, you:

Are co-responsible for setting out the purchasing strategy, policy and targets;

Managing and development of supplier relations with optimal price, quality and supply reliability of the purchased goods and services;

Visiting our supplier for alignments and audits;

Drive improvement processes with strategic suppliers based on supplier qualification and/or evaluation;

Research, qualify and evaluate on a project basis international suppliers and sub-contractors;

Advise the management team in strategic purchasing or outsourcings questions;

Responsible for creating unambiguous processes, procedures, and preconditions for the acquisition process project-based and non-project-based;

Provide reliable information for budget and cost price calculations;

Set up proposals for standardization, develop framework contracts and monitor and maintain them.

Education and experience
-
Finished Bachelor or Master in engineering, complemented with NEVI courses;

Minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar environment;

Affinity with electronics and software-rich products;

Experience with semiconductor and/or electronics manufacturing supply chain;

Good experience with ERP systems and Office;
-
Experience with contract management;
-
Good presentation and project management skills and an understanding of the product development process.
