As a Project Manager, you will report to the R&D manager of Airios. You will work in the R&D team consisting of over 35 people (project managers, architects, soft- and hardware engineers) and organized in several scrum teams. We use agile methodologies and tools. The teams usually work on various activities at the same time, both new product development and maintenance on existing products.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible to independently drive a set of development projects as the main project leader. You lead the technical project teams in the different phases of the project. This includes scoping, technical feasibility, planning, budgeting and quotation, product development, first production and deliveries. You are a key figure linking our organization, customers and suppliers.
What will you do:
As a Project Manager at Airios, you:
· Are part of the project management team;
· Manage a set of projects, including new product introduction and product improvement projects;
· Develop and maintain project plans with clear objectives, agreed with the different internal and external stakeholders;
· Organize and monitor all internal and external project activities;
· Manage the project risks (gather, analyze, drive counter measures, report);
· Are responsible for the delivery of the project according to agreed specifications, budget, scope and planning;
· Work closely with project teams at our suppliers;
· Regularly report progress on your projects to the management of Airios;
Education & experience
We are looking for a Project Manager with the following experience:

Finished Bachelor or Master education in engineering;

Minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar environment;

Training in project management;

Experience with product development of embedded hardware and/or software;

Work experience in an Agile development environment is preferred.

Good written and oral communication skills in English. Dutch and German knowledge are preferred;
