Electronics Development Engineer
Airios is looking for a Electronics Development Engineer to support our Hardware team in Veldhoven, The Netherlands.

Our products are embedded electronics circuit boards that either are delivered as a semi-final PCBA or complete box-build and packaged product. Part of our production takes place in our own production facility, where we focus on low to mid-volume production. We work with one production shift.

Your role
As an Electronics Development Engineer, you’ll join our Hardware team of 7 electrical engineers within a dynamic R&D organization of over 30 architects and engineers. You’ll work on New Product Introductions (NPIs) and maintain hardware for our existing product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:

Define product architecture and hardware specifications based on commercial requirements

Design electrical schematics and PCB layouts, including power electronics, digital electronics, RF circuitry, and antennas

Build prototypes and validate functionality with test engineers, including certification

Analyze and resolve issues found in production or in the field

Collaborate with system engineers, software designers, production engineers, and purchasers to create integrated products

Optimize manufacturability in partnership with purchasing and production teams

Support project and product managers in evaluating new opportunities and creating work breakdown structures

Continuously improve our development processes
Education and experience
We are looking for a candidate with the following experience:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar

Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics development, including wireless connectivity (868MHz, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NB-IoT) and/or sensors

Experience in RF circuit design and testing

Familiarity with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS)

Agile/Kanban experience preferred

Experience in climate and ventilation systems is a plus
